ASB Erskine Road, Chorley

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Nuisance Motorbikes / E-Bikes / E-Scooters, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Dear Residents,

Over the past week we have recieved reports of E-bikes/skooters riding in an anti social manner around Harpers Lane Pump track. one of these reports states a young child riding his bike was collided into by an elecric skooter. im sure as many of you may know these E-bikes/skooters are illegal if they go above 15.5mph, have a throttle or/and conversion kit. we would really appreciate any help or information people may have,

- CCTV available of ASB riding
- any intel or information e.g (times and locations E-bikes/skooters are seen)

Not to be a Scrooge but leading up to christmas if any parents are thinking of getting there children an Electric bike/skooter for christmas think twice as if these are deemed unsafe or have any modifications which are illegal they will be siezed with emmidiate effect.

we appreciate your patience and cooperation with this matter.

Many Thanks, PCSO Matt Pilkington
